About Me
Hello! I am pursuing a Biology major, with a concentration in ecology, at Dickinson College. After attending high school in Falmouth, MA, I chose Dickinson in part due to its strong commitment to sustainability. During my undergraduate education, I have explored concepts of sustainability both on campus and abroad. I have conducted multiple research projects on species as diverse as snakes, toads, and dung beetles while using the Dickinson College Farm as a living laboratory. Currently I am working on my honors thesis, seeking to manage horn fly populations at the college farm through the use of natural pesticides without impacting the beneficial populations of dung beetles that are present. While abroad, I studied wildlife management in the context of community conservation in Tanzania as well as climatology in Denmark.

When not identifying dung beetles, I can be found giving tours with Admissions or playing ultimate frisbee with the Jive Turkeys, of which I am the women’s team president. Additionally, I work with the Center for Global Studies and Engagement promoting study abroad opportunities for STEM students as a Global Ambassador.
